Soft Toy Emergency

Soft Toy Emergency, were a funk-rock band once upon a time, now with the addition of a laptop and some swish ideas they’re NYPC-supporting purveyors of fitful electro-pop, producing a mighty good anti-zuton, Casion’n’iMac racket.

The Liverpool based bunch are not overly slick, annoy-rave chancers; but something a little weirder. The guitars crunch rather than funk, the beats are choppy, the vocals are those cool singy-talky ones. And they make the sort of music that makes your knees go all herky-jerky.
