The Environmental Art Project
SAT 5 & SUN 6 MAY:
2007 sees the launch of an exciting new visual art programme.
The Environmental Art Project initiated by UZ Events and curated by international artist Guyan Porter is designed specifically for the grounds of Callendar Park - a beautiful environment that is inspirational to the public and artists alike. It contrasts an imposing stately home with tower blocks, waterways, an extensive forest park and a significant section of the Antonine Wall. The environment will stimulate an extraordinary range of visual and environmental art installations and performances.
For the first show, Porter’s challenging new work, live forever – a neon installation will be showcased alongside that of students from the Glasgow School of Art.
Please visit on-site information points for full locations.
