Your chance to Get Involved with Big in Falkirk 07!

We are looking for local people to get involved with one of the highlights of Big in Falkirk – the finale, Before the Wolf featuring La Banda Europa.

Before the Wolf is a performance featuring over 30 top musicians from 12 countries throughout Europe. Playing instruments from their respective country which are not typically heard together - hurdy gurdies from France, cornetas from Spain and of course, bagpipes from Scotland - they will converge under the name La Banda Europa to perform a new, specially composed score from Jim Sutherland who wrote the music for the BAFTA Award-winning film Festival. Under the Performance Direction of Hilary Westlake who worked on the Queen’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, they will be joined by a 200-strong local choir and 25 snare drummers for the Grand March finale and this is how you can get involved!

Organisers want to hear from any choirs or snare drummers based in or around the Falkirk area who would like to be part of this amazing musical extravaganza and perform in front of one of Scotland’s biggest outdoor festival audiences around.
